It does indeed look rather small, and greyish, but kind of shiny. It looks like it would have a rough texture.
The blue bit has been identified as benonite, and this guy was really, really excited about it. Lots of pics of location and how it was acquired.
Does someone else want a go, or shall I go on to describe all about the room (site)?
