1. I live in a city (Toronto). Nothing of what I see would have existed where it is. Even the trees were planted to accommodated the surrounding houses. It's winter, so there isn't even any grass. The bushes are dead but dreaming.
2. Again, city. I can see three stars and two airplanes.
3. At the moment meteors reminder me of a short story I'm working on where they can (but rarely) carry gods to Earth. Not terribly scientific, but rather romantic for this atheist.
4. I imagine it would. I haven't had a landlord for some years, but I can easily see a "reality" show of griping tenets vs bemoaning landlords.
Like that Wife Swap show I once caught at the gym, force them to deal with each other's problems, and realize what it means to be a responsible property owner vs agreeing to live in and care for a home which you have no long term vested interest in.
5. I find it hilarious that RAW recommends avoiding paranoid conspiracies, but I don't really have any idea why there are so many cop shows.
I haven't had cable for many years, so what TV I catch tends to be in snippets at the gym, but there seem to be at least three versions of CSI - all of which feature the same sort of wooden acting, which is fine, since none of the characters have personalities. It's really bizarre.
